We discussed the reading Warschauer's article, and talked about the generation gap of information technology -- our generation compared to older ones.  We discussed the digital divide, the difference between people who are tech savy and people who aren't really good when it comes to technology.  A fellow classmate brought up the fact that we are teaching people how to use software, and not how to use computers.

Today in class we filled out a quick survey on social networking sites.  We continued to play around with photoshop.  Our professor floated around different ideas for us to mess around with on our own time.  We went over the multiple different picture formats, and learned how to make different layers.

We are still working on photoshop -- messing around with different images.  We played around with editing images.  Our professor repeatedly has told us that we can't cover everything in class, we were encouraged to practice on our own time outside of class.  We played around with adjustments that included: vibrance, invert, and exposure, as well as other editing options.
