Today we got to get our feet wet with the program called Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is a program that helps with easier web designing. So far we only got a glimpse at some of the basics of Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver provides the basics for writing HTML codes for websites. We are also getting into bookmarks. We are using sites like Delicious, and Xmarks. Of the two, Delicious can be more reliable because you can access it from anywhere.

In today's class for the most part, we carried on a thorough debate on plagiarism issues. We talked about why our generation is more "relaxed" when it comes to plagiarism. And how we are so accustomed to copy and pasting. We also discussed folcsonomy, taxonomy, and copy right issues. For a class assignment we read Alexanders article, and it was semi-beneficial for me. In regards to technology in the classrooms K-12, I feel that younger students should receive technology training of some sort as early as possible in their lives.

Today in IM 260 we did a few different things. First, we organized our wiki and discussed our written response papers. Next, we talked a little bit about skype and how you can desktop share and record whole conversations. We also had a fun time as a class playing around with Adobe connect. Adobe connect is cool because you can have a discussion as a class outside of the classroom. Adobe lets you use econference sharing, text, video, and photos. This was my first experience with Adobe connect and it was interesting to learn about it.

We also got a glimpse at working with the outlook calender so that we can schedule meetings, and organize your personal calender. I learned that the client version is somewhat easier because you can drag and drop opposed to the web version.
